Dominik Käfer

Dominik Käfer is a seasoned expert for risk, compliance and financial crime. He is a partner in the Financial Services practice at Strategy& Germany, and is based in Frankfurt. His clients include international financial service providers, large corporates, data providers and government institutions, whom he advises on complex issues relating to new business models, strategy development, risk management and operationalization of such matters. Dominik has extensive expertise in the areas of anti-money laundering measures, combating fraud and corruption, sanctions, cyber and digital compliance, as well as non-financial risks.

He has 20 years of experience both in consulting and in the banking sector. Prior to joining Strategy&, Dominik worked as a senior partner at a global consulting firm and co-led the anti-financial crime unit on EMEA level. He also gained practical industry expertise at a leading international bank as well as various consulting firms headquartered in London, Hong Kong and Frankfurt.

Dominik Käfer holds a diploma with honors in international business administration from the Wiesbaden Business School of the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and also completed an extra-occupational training course in competitive strategy at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois, USA.
