Malko has a long standing experience in the consulting industry, with a cross sector (Financial Services, EPC, Private Equity) and functional (Strategy, Tax) expertise.

Based in Milan office, he is a Partner in Strategy& Italy and he is responsible, within PwC Italy, for the set-up and management of the Special Projects and Campaigns

His key areas of focus are:

• Business Model Design & Implementation, including Financial Services, EPC, Private Equity

• Large-scale change management programs, including post-merger integration

Examples of recent assignments include:

• Developed and managed PwC service offerings for private clients on Voluntary Disclosure Tax Programs

• Developed business strategy and business model design for several Italian top Banks on the “Ecobonus” Financial Institutions 

• Developed and managed PwC service offerings for corporate clients on Italian Tax Incentives

• Managed a local business line carve-out of a Global EPC player

• Assessed the economic benefits, designed and implemented the VAT Group Scheme Italian Banking Group

• Restructured the Group Tax functions on a primary Italian Banking Group 

• Assessed, for private equity firms, market entry and tax opportunities/risks on implementing local investments
