Partner, Strategy& Australia
Dan is a Partner in PwC’s Strategy& team. He joined PwC in Australia on 01st August 2022 with a brief to transfer his experience from the UK to help expand PwC’s managed services offering in the Australian Market.
Prior to moving to Australia he led the Central and International government Consulting team and sat on the PwC UK Government & Health Industries leadership team representing Strategy&.
Dan has extensive experience advising senior clients across government and health industries on major transformation and reform programmes. He specialises in working with senior leaders to create consensus around transforming public services, particularly where organisations are required to collaborate across traditional boundaries to improve outcomes for citizens. He was a driving force in establishing PwC’s integrated healthcare business in the UK, focusing on working with clients to introduce outcome based commissioning and accountable care style payment and incentive models.
Dan was sponsoring partner for PwC’s Future of Government programme which worked at permanent secretary level to explore a range of critical issues. In 2021, the focus on post Covid recovery and tackling inequality.
Dan joined PwC from the Local Government Association where he worked as a senior public affairs and policy officer for three years. Prior to this, he worked for the Department for Education as a civil servant and for English Heritage as the policy adviser to the CEO.
