Marcus Steffen Bauer is a leading practitioner in organizational strategies for Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. He is a Senior Executive Advisor at Strategy& Germany, based in Berlin. He works with clients in the public sector; governments at federal, state, and municipal levels; and non-profit organizations, associations, and supra-national institutions in the German-speaking area, Greater Europe, and the Middle East.

His assignments predominantly encompass organizational change, large scale government modernization, and operations transformation and effectiveness programs, as well as agenda setting, policy development, implementation, and regulatory reform. He has considerable experience in the management of complex, multi-national stakeholder engagements, and related communication and awareness campaigns.

He holds a diploma degree with distinction from the Koblenz School of Corporate Management, where he majored in business administration and economics. He completed his international studies at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Reims in France, the MBA program of Queens University in Canada, and the Washington Campus program of Georgetown University in the U.S., with a focus on international relations and political science.
