He is passionate about standing up new consumer businesses and translating his learnings from blitzscaling start-ups to apply to the context of traditional industrial corporations.

Hitanshu brings over 18 years of varied experience working in growth strategy, long-range planning under uncertainty, strategy execution, operations transformation and sales acceleration in distribution-led businesses across the domains of industrials, energy, infrastructure and consumer internet start-ups.

Besides Strategy&, Hitanshu has worked with Shell, Strategic Decisions Group and held leadership roles in internet start-ups like Park+, RARIO and Magic Pin.

Hitanshu’s recent marquee work includes:

  • scaling sales in the general trade channel and transforming sales team’s ways of working for a legacy consumer lighting brand
  • setting up daily car cleaning of Uber India
  • offline performance marketing for leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies across stationery, personal care, home care, beverages and D2C brands
  • transforming processes and digital tools ex-factory for a leading two-wheeler manufacturer in Asia to help them regain competitiveness
  • scaling up challenger FMCG brand in a category with long-established leaders
