Burm Yong-Kyun is the Leader of PwC Strategy& Korea, leading the commercial sector.

He is an industry leader in the Technology/Media/Entertainment and Platform sectors and oversees Strategy&/PwC’s global relationship with the Samsung Group.

He has worked on growth strategies, investment strategies, value creation, and digital strategies for global conglomerates since 1996 and has led major Korean companies regarding market entry into the U.S./European/Asian markets, overseas investment, and global M&A consulting services.

He has experience working with the Strategy&/PwC Australia, U.S., and Europe offices and also serves as an investment evaluator for major domestic companies and PE companies. He graduated from Sydney University, majoring in business administration.

Kim Chang-Rae is the leader of Strategy&'s Automotive, Heavy Industries, Industrial Materials and Telecommunications sectors.

Since joining PwC Consulting in 2005, he has led strategy projects on various topics such as mid & long-term growth strategies, new business strategies, and digital innovation for various clients, including leading domestic and foreign companies and public organizations.

He is also an external evaluation advisor of major domestic companies and various public organizations.

He has published the Korean versions of Strategy&/PwC's books, "Strategy That Works" (2016), and "Fit for Growth, Improving the Constitution for Sustainable Growth" (2018).

He graduated from Seoul National University, majoring in Business Administration.

Chang Yoo-Shin is the leader of Strategy&’s Deal Strategy services.

He has extensive experience in growth strategies, business portfolio strategy, M&A strategy and post deal value-up advisory services within the PEF, manufacturing (automotive, automotive components and chemicals) and retail industries. He also leads PwC Korea's start-up support program, connecting large enterprises and startups.

He has published Korean versions of “Strategy that works” (2016) and "Fit for Growth" (2018) and co-authored "Integrated Strategies for M&A Success". He previously worked at Deloitte Consulting and graduated from KAIST Business Engineering.

Song Young-Ho is the leader of Strategy&’s financial service.

He has extensive experience in projects such as mid & long-term growth strategy, business portfolio strategy, new business strategy, due diligence and PMI for major domestic financial institutions (financial holding, banks, securities, insurance and cards).

He has recently been providing advisory services regarding the strategic direction of financial companies under the digital environment, such as digital transformation strategies, channels and platforms, and digital new businesses.

Prior to joining Strategy&, he was in charge of financial strategy practices at Kearney and has experience regarding financial practices such as structured finance, M&A advice, and IPO for leading domestic and foreign banks and securities firms.

He graduated from Korea University and New York University (MBA).

Tae Young is a partner in the Seoul Office of Strategy&, specializing in the Electronics, Display, Semiconductor and Automotive industries.
 

Since joining Strategy& in 2012, Tae Young has led numerous projects providing strategic advice to clients across multinational corporations and public sectors on topics such as mid & long-term growth strategies, portfolio and market review, new business strategies, and digital innovation. He also leads PwC Korea’s venture initiatives that support early stage startups with funding, business development, and IR strategy.
 

Prior to joining the firm, Tae Young spent 6 years in Samsung Electronics and Nomura Research Institute. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Seoul National University.

Tommy is a partner at Strategy& Korea providing strategy services across semiconductor, platform, healthcare/bio and retail industries.

He has conducted various competitiveness enhancement, growth strategy and go-to-market strategy projects across the value chain, and has also helped clients develop market intelligence & simulation/platform strategies to address the rapid-changing business environment.

As part of the PwC Strategy& global mobility program, he has spent two years working in the PwC New York office, and is actively working with Strategy& global network to provide in-bound & out-bound services including market feasibility study and go-to-market strategy development.

He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Korea.

Kim Bumchul is a partner of Strategy&'s Financial Institutions practice.
 

He has extensive experiences in projects such as corporate/business strategies, portfolio strategies, commercial due diligence and post-merger integration for major financial institutions (financial holding companies, banks, securities, asset management companies, and etc.)

He also has been conducting new business strategies, M&A strategies, and commercial due diligence for FinTech, BigTech, telecommunication companies, and private equities.

Prior to joining Strategy&, he was a member of Financial Institutions practice at Kearney, Boston Consulting Group, and Bain & Company.

He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University.

Woo-Young is a partner and member of Financial Service Practice at Strategy&.
 

He has established innovative business models such as digital transformation, global business strategies, and new business strategies for banks, card companies, fintech platforms, and savings banks. His specialties lie in establishing domestic and international financial business models for major digital banks and fintech companies, as well as offering advisory services to financial institutions for global expansion.
 

He is also a member of PwC Global Delivery Deal Value (DDV) Asia-Pacific Network and Open Banking & Payment CoE, and provides lectures on management innovation and PMI to major conglomerates.
 

He graduated from Korea University with a degree in Business and published a Korean version of "The Self-Destructive Habits of Good Companies ...And How to Break Them."
