Dr. Andreas Gissler is a Partner with Strategy& and a member of the firm’s Mobility, Aerospace, Infrastructure and Tourism practice in the Middle East.

Andreas is a leading practitioner and trusted advisor for highly complex projects and large-scale transformation programs. He has more than 24 years of experience in advising clients from the automotive, mobility, and industrial sectors in Europe, the US, and China, as well as the Middle East.

His areas of expertise include:

  • Digital strategy and transformation
  • Digital business model design and data monetization
  • Target operation model designs
  • Connected car, autonomous driving, shared- and e-mobility strategies

In addition to his client work, Andreas has co-authored several articles and reports: “The Digital Auto Report,” “eReadiness Study,” “The Agency Distribution Model,” and “Automotive retail beyond 2030.”

Prior to joining Strategy&, he worked for two international management consultancies where he led the automotive business in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Russia, as well as globally.

Andreas holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern.
