Melissa Rizk

Foresight Lead, Ideation Center, Strategy& Middle East

Melissa Rizk is the foresight lead of the Ideation Center at Strategy&. She has ten years of experience with Strategy&, focusing on the MENA region.

During her tenure with the Ideation Center, Melissa has activated the foresight capability within the Ideation Center, integrating the futures mindset and applications of common methodologies (such as horizon scanning, systems' mapping, and scenario planning) across projects and publications. She also developed the future's guide, the Ideation Center's proprietary toolkit for foresight application. In addition, she regularly manages and contributes to client engagements, helping to apply differentiated capabilities (including foresight, behavioral economics, and systems' mapping).

Melissa has deep expertise across sectors in areas including wellbeing and livability, social developments and impact, the digital economy and emerging transformative digital solutions, and resilience.

Prior to joining the Ideation Center, Melissa worked as a consultant with the public sector practice at Strategy&. She managed multiple projects related to strategic planning, operating model design, and process development.

Melissa has a master's degree in financial economics from the American University of Beirut and a bachelor’s degree in finance and financial management services from Concordia University. She also has completed the foresight scenarios training program at Said Business School, University of Oxford, and the behavioural insights and public policy certificate program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
