Before joining Strategy&, I had been a strategy consultant for 9 years. The primary reasons why I decided to join Strategy& were the ambitious and fun team, the opportunity to expand my skill set with Commercial Due Diligences and the international opportunities offered through the Nordic client engagements, international networking events and the culturally diverse local team.
The most rewarding projects to date have been 2 transformation projects. In the first one, we were supporting client to close a deal to acquire a Swedish company and continued in the integration planning work. This was really about providing a smooth deal closing and integration process for the client and jointly celebrating “the moments that matter” with the client. The second most rewarding project has been supporting client in their culture transformation journey from current culture diagnostics to identifying culture priorities and behavioral shifts and commitments.
Both hard and soft skills are required to succeed in strategy consulting. Out of hard skills, I see business acumen very important. Leadership skills are also important and the ability adapt the working style to different people and clients.
I like to go to my cabin to relax and recharge with my family and friends.
