Christine is a partner in our strategy insurance practice and has spent over 10 years advising clients across the global, European and UK insurance industries; she focuses mainly on strategy (including ESG strategies), operating model design and operations optimisation in the commercial lines sector, across both insurers and brokers. Christine also has senior line management experience in the commercial brokerage sector as Change Director of a large transformation programme..

Selected engagements include:

  • Development of market participation strategy for a global top-10 commercial-lines insurer, including strategic scenarios development and assessment across potential geographies, lines of business and segments
  • European strategy for a global commercial lines insurer, including assessment of market opportunities in MGAs, other portfolio underwriting solutions arena and the Lloyd’s of London/LCM markets
  • Alternative distribution channels opportunities and design of an industry-focused operating model for the corporate solutions business unit of a a global reinsurer
  • Assessment and recommendations for the MGA unit of a global top-20 multi-line commercial-lines insurer
  • Effectiveness review for a top 10 UK commercial lines insurer: the study assessed the insurer’s mid-market segment sales force and underwriting teams and operating model, and identified ~10% revenue uplift opportunities
  • Strategy review for a global commercial lines and employee benefits broker: review of market trends and opportunities; design of the EB strategy, and detailing of business model required to deliver the strategy at group, regional and country levels
  • Target operating model design for the international business unit of a global broker: including streamlining the ~40 country models into one consistent model, addressing all aspects from segmentation and sales approaches, to back-office operations (e.g., shared teams and near-shoring) and overall business-unit governance; following presentation of the business case to the Group Steering Committee, the implementation of the target operating model was initiated
  • Cost reduction for a global broker, involving broad review of expenses and FTE costs across the business; selected initiatives looked at simplifying support functions operating models, and locations strategy for back-office activities

Christine holds an MBA from the London Business School, as well as a Masters. Degree from the Ecole du Louvre (France) and a BA Highest Honours in Political Science from Carleton University (Canada). She is fluent in French, English, and also speaks Spanish. Prior to her consulting career, Christine was the Head of the Antique Frames Department at Christie’s, the auctioneer
