Jacqueline is a Partner in Strategy& Deals Consumer Markets practice and UK Head of Retail, with over 25 years of experience in commercial due diligence and corporate strategy. She advises private equity, lenders and senior management to make rigorous investment decisions and unlock value.
She has a wide coverage of the retail sector and other consumer markets including apparel (affordable luxury, mid-market, value, athleisure, lifestyle, plus size and maternity), accessories (jewellery and footwear), health & beauty (cosmetics, skincare, haircare, nailcare and sexual wellness), general merchandise (furniture and electronics), ‘enthusiast’ categories (cycling, angling, crafting and PC gaming) and food (staples and speciality). Jac brings extensive experience across different retail business models including digital (D2C, aggregators, marketplaces, membership, brand hubs, FBA and resale), multi-channel (specialists, department stores, grocers and discounters), secondary channels (off-price, resale and re-distributor) and the wider value chain (retail tech, retail logistics and consumer finance).
Jac regularly authors thought leadership, contributes to leading publications, and speaks at industry events on topical issues such as how fundamental changes in consumer behaviour and retail innovations are reshaping the industry.
She has a B.A in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
