Martin is a Partner in Strategy&, PwC's strategy consulting practice. He is based in London and advises Financial Services organisations, focusing on Retail and Commercial banking and Wealth. He has over 20 years’ experience in strategy consulting and technology.
His experience includes helping clients develop growth strategies, assessing the attractiveness of markets, evaluating competitive positioning, developing customer propositions and identifying the critical capabilities needed to differentiate. He has conducted studies of the industry trends and dynamics that influence the basis of competition. He has also supported organisations in managing cost, both BAU, change, and to focus their investment portfolios on meeting strategic objectives. He has developed new business models and designed the underpinning target operating models (enterprise-wide and for specific business units and functions).
He has designed, mobilised and overseen transformation programmes to deliver fundamental change. He has created the business cases to justify investment and strategic change, and has built the practical roadmaps to help organisations take practical steps to implement their vision.
He is the author or co-author of many PwC and Stratgey& publications.
