Partner, Strategy& Middle East
Mahmoud Makki is a Partner with Strategy& and the leader of the firm’s Technology, Media, Telecommunications, and Digital practice in the Middle East.
He has over 18 years of industry and consulting experience. Mahmoud specializes in commercial transformations, consumer go-to-market strategy, broadband strategy development and execution, and regulatory agenda management for telecom operators acquired through a multitude of engagements across North America and the Middle East. Mahmoud also advises policy makers and regulatory bodies on national ICT initiatives.
In addition to his client work, he has authored several reports including: The personalization imperative: Driving telecom growth with AI-powered marketing, Business unusual in ICT regulations, How GCC telecom operators can recover from the dual shock of COVID-19 and lower oil prices, and Innovation Goes Home: A Growth Avenue for MENA Telecom Operators.
Mahmoud holds a Master’s of Science degree in Operations Research from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Engineering from The American University of Beirut.
