The Ideation Center at Strategy& teamed up with INSEAD to shed light on the challenges hindering the growth of the data economy in the GCC and the role of governments in unleashing its growth. Following months of work, they jointly published their findings in a report entitled “Turning bits into dollars: The potential of the data economy in the GCC,” authored by Theodoros Evgeniou, Professor, Decision Sciences and Technology Management at INSEAD; and our own Jad Hajj, Alice Klat, Jana Batal and Dr. Pierre Peladeau.
On Wednesday, November 7, we held a Tech Talk at INSEAD Middle East Campus to present the key findings of the study to more than 30 invitees including a number of INSEAD alumni in addition to the ADGM community. Following the opening remarks by Pascale Balze, INSEAD global project manager, Jad Hajj took the stage to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the data economy in the GCC region.
The presentation was very well received and generated positive feedback from the audience. To learn more about this Ideation Center insight, please visit the microsite.
